a little time away. a little creative freedom. a whole lot of heart.
Sometimes we just need to step away from our schedules, our never-ending to-do lists, and the noise of everyday life.
We need a little room to breathe.
To laugh.
To rest.
To reconnect with ourselves, with others, and with the creativity God has placed within us.
That is the heart behind Creative Soul Retreat.
For over 10 years, I have had the privilege of gathering women together for a few days of creativity, connection, encouragement, and friendship.
What began as an opportunity to create together has become something so much more.
There have been beautiful projects, messy tables, late-night conversations, laughter, tears, new friendships, and moments that remind us how important it is to make time for the things that fill our souls.
Creative Soul Retreat is a gathering of women who enjoy creating, connecting, and spending intentional time together. It is an opportunity to slow down, try something new, work on something you love, or simply enjoy being surrounded by other creative women.
You do not have to be an experienced artist.
You do not have to finish a project.
You do not have to be anything other than yourself.
There is no pressure to perform, produce, or prove anything.
Just an invitation to show up, settle in, and enjoy the gift of time set aside for creativity and connection.
CREATIVE TIME
Time to stitch, collage, paint, journal, experiment, and explore your own creative interests. Whether you bring a favorite project or try something completely new, there is room for your creativity to unfold.
CONNECTION & COMMUNITY
Some of the most meaningful moments happen around the table. Conversations begin, stories are shared, friendships grow, and women discover how much we have in common.
ENCOURAGEMENT & FAITH
My faith is an important part of who I am and the heart behind Creative Soul. There are opportunities for encouragement, reflection, and sharing, but there is never pressure to believe, participate, or be at a certain place in your faith journey.
Everyone is welcome, and everyone is valued.
REST & ROOM TO BREATHE
You don't have to fill every moment. Sometimes the best thing you can do is sit with a cup of coffee, enjoy a conversation, take a break, or simply be still.
FUN, LAUGHTER & MEMORIES
There is something special about gathering with women who understand the joy of creating. We laugh, encourage one another, learn from each other, and make memories that last long after the retreat ends.
And even if you are thinking, "I'm not really creative," I want to remind you that creativity isn't about being the best at something.
It's about giving yourself permission to begin.
One of my favorite things about Creative Soul Retreat is watching women arrive as strangers and leave as friends.
Some women come back year after year. Others are joining us for the very first time.
Some come with friends. Others arrive not knowing a single person.
And every single one brings something special to the table.
You don't need to know anyone before you arrive.
You don't need to have everything figured out.
You don't even need to know what you want to create.
Just come as you are.
