Stay, Stitch & Sew Retreat at The Whatever Craft House with Andrea Lawless & Stephanie Ackerman
Stay, Stitch & Sew Retreat at The Whatever Craft House with Andrea Lawless & Stephanie Ackerman
You know the feeling you get after going to a creative faith retreat and you just want to GO BACK and do it all over again?! You made new friends, the company was inspirational and the Spirit moved!?!
IYKYK. If you know, you know.
We believe there is a time and place for retreats that focus on great teaching and new projects from talented artists. But we've also come to realize that there is also a time and place for retreats that focus on just BEING and BEING TOGETHER. So we're adding this to the mix.
We want to make it possible for creative souls to come together IN-PERSON, more often, and in more places. Really good things happen when two or more are gathered together...
Here's our vision:
In 2025, in addition to Stephanie hosting Creative Soul Retreats at the Whatever Craft House and Andrea hosting Sea of Grace Retreats in Galveston, Texas, we hope to offer PHD (Projects Half Done) Retreats.
We were inspired by this name because we have all accomplished so much in our lives, but a lot sits undone and unattended to... and perhaps the most important things are those that we don't make time for. So, we want to flip the script.
Our PHD retreats won't be about learning something new from a teacher. They'll be about working on things we already know we need to work on.
We want to make time for people to catch up on life.... .. in every sense.
We all need time to catch up on projects that are half done. So you'll be invited to B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Project).
We also all need time to catch up with one another. So we're going to spend time doing things together, laughing, crying, making memories, and more.
And most of all, we need time to be still and catch up with God. Imagine if we plugged back into God and gave Him room to speak and work in our life.
Simply put, our goal will be to connect with one another and with God a little more deeply.
We hope to keep the cost down for our PHD Retreats and to host them in different areas of the United States to make it more accessible for people to come together. We know that cost, travel, and location all factor into attendance.
So what do you say, are you interested?!
If so, you don't have to wait until 2025 to join us in a PHD Retreat.

There is something amazing that happens when Art & Faith Collide in an amazing house full of women, food, coffee, snacks, paints and time to be quiet, restore, rest, stay up late, wake up early, and if you want, wear your jammies all day long.
"It's really good" is the best way to explain it because honestly, there are not words to truly express what happens, and the best part..
Jesus shows up every.single.time.
Here is what is included in The Creative Soul Retreat:
